History & Culture:
Built in 1787 as a seaside residence for George, Prince of Wales the Brighton Pavilion is one of the great landmarks in Brighton, Built in a style which was very prevalent in India at the time it is a true wonder of architecture & the Chinese styled interiors are equally stunning. These days though Brighton is more than just a seaside retreat, its party central & is known to be the gay capital of the UK many bars & clubs catering to that orientation. Travel Info:
Quite simply Brighton is located 1 hour from Central London with regular trains departing Victoria station, the closest airport is London Gatwick & a train from there will take 30 minutes. Once in Brighton everything is compacted & easily reached on foot so no need for buses or taxis but they are there for anybody who has had one too many!
