taken for a large city due to the skyscrapers which dominate the skyline, in fact Benidorm has the most skyscrapers per capita in the world although the real reason its famous is because of the 5km beach & incredible nightlife. The hot Mediterranean climate insures great weather year round so don't forget your sun cream. With the local restaurants serving the freshly caught seafood & delicious steaming paellas everybody's taste is catered for. There are literally hundreds of bars to choose from for nighttime entertainment so no matter what you're looking for Benidorm caters for it.

Culture:

These days Benidorm's culture is basically 100% tourism driven, concentrating on entertainment like nightclubs , casinos & the extravagant dancing at the Benidorm Palace however if you pay a visit to the old town you'll come across a few reminders of the fishing village roots of this town. At the center of old Benidorm is a place called Triangular square & is a good place to potter about & discover the original streets. However if you would like to really sample old Spain we suggest a trip over to nearby Alicante which is a lot more traditional & has some great historic sights.

If you're looking for something to do during the stag party other than hitting the bars then why not try a few beach activities. For starters there's nothing more relaxing that lying on the beach shooting the breeze while tanning yourself but if you get bored then there's always the peddle boats or banana boat for an extra thrill, alternatively sailing around the Med is a great way to spend an afternoon as is a trip to a local water park, especially in the summertime when temperatures are at their highest it can be a nice way to stay cool. During the cooler months a round of golf can be a good start to the day before hitting the clubs.

Nightlife:

In years gone past Benidorm had a bit of a reputation as a lager lout hangout with loads of bar fights, thankfully those days are well & truly behind it and these days there's a much more savory atmosphere around town. The place is full of cocktail & karaoke bars, not to mention a strip club or two!! Which makes it the best place in Europe for a sunshine stag party. There are some fantastic old-style taverns in the old town if you fancy a bit of cultural drinking in the evenings but then it's most definitely back to the party and The Benidorm Palace is one place not to be missed, they put on a great cabaret show & drinks are included in the entry price. The Intimate Bar & the Rock & Roll Bar to name but a couple are great places to go for a good night out but in all honesty you'll find it difficult to not have a good time anywhere you end up.

Whether it's a high end meal, tapas, afternoon tea or a big greasy breakfast you're looking for Benidorm has it all.
