a great sunshine destination for the modern hen. Here you will find freshly caught calamari, hot seafood paella and wide variety of full-bodied reds. Barcelona's culture and vibrant nightlife is ideal for your last night as a single men.

Culture:

Barcelona is cradled in the North Eastern Mediterranean coast of mainland Spain, about 2 hours drive South from the French Pyrenees. It's the capital of Catalunya, which is a region of Northern Spain that has its own unique culture and traditions. Many known painters and artists worked here at some time and their influence is still evident all around the city. Two of which are the great Picasso and Miro who have museums dedicated to some of their more important works. There are lots of other museums and art galleries dotted all around the city so you'll always have plenty of art to experience whilst you are here. Should you ever find your mind fried from art and culture overload then you can spend the day recovering on one of Barcelona's sandy beaches only a short stroll from the city centre. Order a sangria at one of the bars and kick of your shoes, sit back and enjoy the sun, sea and the view.

Famous For:

Cuisine - While you're on the beach you'll be to sample some of the best seafood the Mediterranean has to offer, or if you prefer, there are plenty of excellent tapas restaurants and bars. There are also many restaurants providing more local/simple dishes if you prefer.

Architecture - Barcelona is the home to masterpieces of many great architects. One of the most famous of which is Antoni Gaud'. His work is appreciated by architects around the World as being one of the most unique and distinctive styles in modern architecture. One of his most well-known works is the giant basilica La Sagrada Familia.

Travel:

Barcelona Airport is only 14kms far from Barcelona city center, the passengers are able to use a rented Car, Taxi, Bus or Train services. Barcelona has an extremely easy to use metro system which runs Sunday - Thursdays from 5am - Midnight and 5am - 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. Taxis are fairly cheap and are metered, for about '10 will get you around town. Buses, trams and taxis (rickshaw-like cycle taxis) run frequently.

Bars & Nightlife:

The bars you choose on your weekend are very important for your all round fun and enjoyment. We've found a great set of great pubs, bars and clubs that readily accept hen groups This is wine and beer country so be on the lookout for Estrella Damm and Moritz lagers as they are firm local favourites.

Our aim is to ensure you are wined and dined like Kings. There'll be no need to try figure out strange menus or eat mysterious things that may or may not be chicken/fish/cat. We'll sort you out with good value restaurants that will give everyone an authentic taste of Spain. The Spanish don't tend to eat their evening meal until 9pm and bars don't tend to kick off until well after 11pm so if you're after good atmosphere it's a good idea to pace yourself.

Food/Restaurants:

Be sure to try patatas bravas which are Spain's answer to chips, smothered in a spicy tomato sauce. If you like your meat then your eyes will be light up from the sheer abundance of Serrano ham. Then there are the usual favourites like Chorizo sausage and the abundant fresh seafood. Make sure not to miss the barbequed squid, marinated sardines and fresh shell fish. Some Classic Catalan dishes to try are the Bacalla a la llauna (salted cod baked in tomato, garlic, parsley, paprika and wine) and the Truita de Botifarra (sausage omelette).
