Culture In Whitley:
Whitley Bay town centre has shops, the Jam Jar Cinema, the Playhouse Theatre and ice rich with bowling. There's tourist information office in the new library, there are restaurants on the sea front and the town centre itself.
Facilities:
Whitley Bar is about nine miles from NewCastle upon Tyne and is connected to the 'Tyne' and Wear Metro with stations at Whitley Bay, Monkseaton, West Monkeaton and CallerCoats. It is about a 25 minute journey from newcastle centre on the Metro. Whitley Bay is a seaside resort, known in the UK as a destination for holidays, events, shopping, dinning and arts and leisure activities. The principle nightlife location is South Parade, a street of bars, hotels, guesthouses and restaurants that comes down from the town centre to the seafront. Whitley Bays two nightclubs are to be found on the seafront along with hotels and restuarants.
Things to do In Whitley Bay:
4*4 Off Road Driving: This activity guarantees spine tingling exhilerations for all drivers. Aerial Assault Course: This challenging activity is ideal for Hen groups. Cargo Nets, Balance Beams and Rope Swings beware. Air Rifles: A very competitive event. You will need to hold the rifle as steady as possible while aiming at a stationary target. Suitable for large Hen groups. Archery: Archery continues to be a very popular activity for Hen and Hen groups. A qualified instructor will run through the basics for you.
Nightlife in Whitley Bay:
Bar Crawl - Friday and Saturday night ' VIP card entry into a number of the towns Hot Spots (bars and clubs) with reduced entry fees and drinks promotions along with money off at local restaurants.
