Bath is a historic city which gives a hen party the best of both worlds. Wine bars, Roman styled bathing, and cruises down the river can make for a more relaxed feel to your hen do. However, there is plenty of pubs and clubs for you guys who are into your partying to enjoy as well as a number of different activities such as quad biking or paintballing.

Bath has a large student population in town which ensures night-life is always vibrant. There is a large range of activities to be getting up to in the city from relaxing at some of the hot springs which give the city its name; to boating or hot air ballooning -to going fishing on the Avon river, among many others. There is accommodation for all types of travellers around the city catering to all preferences and budgets.

Travel Info/Getting Around:

Airports – Bristol airport is served by cities all around the British Isles and Europe.

Railways – Bath is only 11 minutes by train or 45 minutes by bus from Bristol. By Train- the train from Paddington station London takes less than 90 minutes to get to Bath. From Birmingham its 1 hour 50 minutes.

Hen do ideas:

Bath is one of the best South West cities in England to relax and have a great time. If you and your girls would like to do just that then look no further than the Thermae Bath Spa which is the only spa in Britain I which you bathe in naturally warm waters and there is even a roof top pool that’s open day and night.

For you girls that like something that’s a bit different why not try out Bath Escape. Grab your girlies and take on Baths very own interactive escape game – if you dare!

There are many different cocktail bars around the city which offers hen parties the opportunity to take one of their masterclasses. Sub 13 lets you create and taste your very own cocktails. Or if you’d just like to drink the cocktails and save the hassle of making them then Circo Bar has an extensive list to choose from.

We also offer a large variety of dance classes in the city if you and your girls would like to learn.

Nightlife:

The nightlife in Bath is brilliant. No matter what kind of night you and your friends are after you can be sure Bath has somewhere that will be to your liking. If live music is your thing then there are plenty of bars which host local artists and are fantastic for a chilled night out or for somewhere to stop off before you head on to the clubs.

Here are a few suggestions as to where to go on a night out in bath:

Sub 13 - Stylish cellar bar, with intimate spaces and a courtyard, serving cocktails, champagnes and spirits.

The Second Bridge - Cellar nightclub in 2 vaulted rooms with 3 bars, neon lighting and leather seating.

The Nest - DJs and rock music on a pit stage surrounded by seating areas, with a lounge bar and sofas upstairs.

Revolution Bath - Individually styled chain bar with a global menu of comfort-food classics and nightly happy hours.

Anyone who enjoys to have a gamble will just love Century Casino in Bath also.

If you would rather relax and not go too mad on a night then you could simply book a Twilight Package at Thermae Bath Spa. Watching the sun set over the city on a roof top pool is the best way to reenergise after a busy day.
