tion for a hen weekend as you'll be able to mix a bit of culture with a lot of partying! Seville really is a place where people enjoy themselves, there's nothing better than joining the bullfighting loving, flamenco dancing Sevillanos on the streets having a beer or heading to one of the many tapas bars for a snack & then hitting the pubs & clubs for a night you won't forget.
Culture:
The culture in Seville revolves around three things, festivals, food & music! Two of the most famous festivals held in Seville are The Semana Santa which means Holy Week & the Feria de Sevilla which means Seville Fair. The Semena Santa is extremely decorative & can be quite solemn with the party only starting 2 weeks later but the Feria de Sevilla is a big party where marquees are set up & families spend the days drinking & dancing whilst dressed in their traditional clothes. Seville is world renowned for its tapas which are small snacks usually topped with some grilled fish or meat & these tapas bars are all over the city. During the 70s & 80s rock music was very big in Seville & this is still around but the music scene is now diverse & this is reflected in the nightclubs.

San Pablo Airport is the main airport serving Seville & is located just 8km from the city centre, The airport is served by a selection of airlines including some of the famous low cost carriers who fly from the UK & Ireland. Seville is very easy to get around, during the day you can rent a bicycle & take in the city or there's also a metro system & a tram system which will get you anywhere you need to go.
Hen Ideas:
A great thing to do in Seville is to take a bike tour, it's by far the best way to see the city & will help brush away the cobwebs if you've had a few drinks the night before. Seville is the home of it you should definitely try get to a bullfighting ring & see this amazing spectacle but be warned that it's not for the faint hearted! For a more relaxing time a round of golf at one of the local courses might be more to your liking & you're almost guaranteed to have the right weather.
Paintballing is another option & a great way to show the hen what you really thing about his decision to take the plunge! If you go during the football season then getting a game in at one of the two La Liga teams Sevilla of Real Betis would be a great experience.
Nightlife:
Being a big city & not one which is synonymous with hen parties you're unlikely to bump into another one so you may as well do what the locals do! The night usually starts off in a tapas bar for a beer or two & a few tapas then migrate onto a bar as the night progresses, if you part of the younger generation you will more than likely wind up at a botellon which is a kind of street party where you bring your own drink & party the night away till 7am!
There are more relaxing options though like taking in a flamenco show at an upmarket flamenco bar of if you just want a few pints then there are plenty of Irish bars about for that. A couple of great bars are Los Coloniales in Plaza Cristo de Burgos, 19 & Bar Garlochi in Calle de los Boteros, 26 where you'll really get a feel for how they do it in Seville.
Food & Restaurants:
Food in Seville basically revolves around tapas, most of the tapas bars will open long into the night, it's basically a case of when you're hungry you eat, most locals just eat at the bar but it is possible to sit down at a table.
