Is there any other way to relax than fishing? and, when paired with a tranquil hotel stay and a hearty meal, this makes for a perfect get away from busy everyday life. This great introduction to fishing is a full day experience, perfect for the less experienced fishers who wish to learn more about equipment and technique to read water and fish effectively to suit different conditions. Equipment and expert tuition to get started are provided. Following a wonderful day out on the River Tay System, come back to the Red House Hotel and stay over night in a double or twin en suite room fitter with a flat screen TV and WiFi. A three-course dinner along with some coffee from the hotels restaurant and breakfast the next morning is also included.

Selected days (around once a week) throughout the season.
Participant Guidelines
Budding anglers aged 18 or over with little fishing experience are welcome. Participants must be at reasonable health and fitness in order to wade in the river or walk on the banks.
Weather
This experience is weather dependent, please call the venue before setting out.
Duration
Fish for up to seven hours, plus an overnight stay.
Numbers On Day
Share the day with up to four other participants.
Dress Code
Dress for the weather on the day, usually with waterproofs, a jacket, hat, sunglasses and sun block in summer.
Other Info
Full equipment including a rod, reel and tackle (for both fly fishing and spinning) is provided. A fishing permit to fish a specific productive stretch of the River Tay System and transport to various pools is included.
