Availability
Weekend dates from April to the middle of October. We ask that you book at least four weeks in advance. Be advised that bookings may be taken up to three months in advance.
Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 12 but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. The minimum height allowed is 5 foot and the maximum weight is 17 stone. The experience is not suitable for those with a serious back or heart complaint or for pregnant women.
Weather
Powerboating is a weather-dependent activity. It's essential that you call the venue for a weather check between 5pm and 7pm on the day before your experience to check weather conditions.
Duration
An hour and a half including a safety briefing, one hour on the water, five minutes driving time and a debrief. You should arrive up to half an hour in advance of your booked time as the boat will not wait for latecomers.
Numbers On Day
There will be up to four people plus the instructor on board.
Spectators
All spectators are welcome to wave you off. They should bring a camera and a pair of binoculars.
Dress Code
You should dress warmly and bring waterproofs along with a change of clothes. Be advised that there is a high wind-chill factor aboard the boat. We recommend wearing non-slip shoes such as trainers or deck shoes. An old pair of sunglasses or ski goggles will come in useful if it is windy.
