This is a wonderful opportunity for you and a friend to spend the day on the River Test, the world famous trout river. Get exclusive access to a private beat on this renowned river, accompanied by an experienced and helpful fishing guide. The guide is an accomplished local expert who knows the best spots, which flies to choose and is equipped with the latest Orvis fishing outfit for your use. Spend a wonderful day out following brown trout that are just waiting to bite your excellently casted fly in the wonderfully clear water!
Availability
Seven days a week from April to October (excluding 10 May to 10 June which is always the busiest fishing period).
Participant Guidelines
This experience is perfect for experienced anglers, but beginners are also welcome and instruction will be tailored to suit your particular needs.
Weather
The type of fishing offered may be subject to change without notice to suit the weather and fishing conditions but will go ahead whatever the weather.
Duration
The day lasts all day around eight hours, with a break for lunch in a local pub.
Numbers On Day
This is a private session with just the two of you and your instructor.
Spectators
The exclusive nature of this experience means is not suitable for spectators.
Dress Code
Dress according to the weather as you will be outside all day, i.e. waterproof clothing would be suitable. Please sure you bring sunglasses, sunblock, a camera and a plastic bag or cool box for any fish you catch.
Other Info
Tackle will be provided but do bring your own if you have it. Flies and leaders will be provided on site.
