Ever wanted to play real shooting games? Why not give clay pigeon shooting at try ! With a shotgun cocked & the smell of gunpowder in the air you can set you sights firmly on your clay enemy, you'll have a qualified instructor who'll teach you the basics in shooting targets. You'll receive one on one instruction and a large number of shots during your timeslot at one of the largest shooting clubs in the country. It doesn't take long for a beginner to be picking off the clay's with the precision of a hardened marksman. The club has full restaurant facilities and tea & coffee will be provided in the clubhouse so you'll be able to brag about your skills over a pint or two after the action.
Availability
Operates every day of the week including bank holidays. Closed Christmas, Boxing and New Year's Days.
Participant Guidelines
The Minimum age begins at 12. Anyone who is 16 or under must be accompanied by a spectating adult. As the venue has wheelchair access, disabled participants are more than welcome (please advise details at the point of booking).
Weather
The experience will run in almost any weather conditions. Please be sure to call ahead if you have any concerns on the day.
Duration
Your experience lasts for 30 minutes, but please allow an additional fifteen minutes for gun fitting and briefing. You are more than welcome to stay on-site for the remainder of the day.
Numbers On Day
There will be others shooting at the venue on the same day.
Spectators
There are safe areas for spectators who are also welcome to frequent the clubhouse and adjoining patio. Pets are not permitted on-site for safety reasons.
Dress Code
Please dress with the vagaries of the British weather in mind for this outdoor experience. We strongly recommend warming layers in which you can move freely.
Other Info
This shooting club is a member of the BASC (British Association for Shooting and Conservation) and the CPSA (Clay Pigeon Shooting Association) which grades the venue as premier plus.
