Additional Information
Under the careful tuition of your own fully qualified instructor, archery is first up and, having learnt the basics, you will be sure to be hitting the target with the precision of one of Robin Hood's merry men! It's then off to the range where, after getting to know your rifle, you will attempt to shoot a variety of targets from various distances - all great fun and guaranteed to whet your appetite for the final discipline of your experience, clay shooting. Following your full tutorial from your instructor you will be given a large amount of shots to share between you and pretty soon the chances are you will be picking off clays left, right and centre with the precision of a hardened sharp shooter.
Availability
Seven days a week (excluding Christmas, Boxing and New Year's Days) subject to availability.
Participant Guidelines
The minimum age starts at 8. Under 18s will have to be accompanied by a spectating adult. As the venue has wheelchair access, disabled participants are more welcome (please advise details at the point of booking).
Weather
This experience will run in most weather conditions. Please call ahead if you have any issues regarding the day.
Duration
Your experience lasts for up to two hours and includes 30 minutes each of archery, air-rifle shooting and clay shooting.
Numbers On Day
This experience is exclusive to the two participants and tuition is carried out on a two to one basis but there will be others shooting at the venue on the same day.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome and there is also a clubhouse and adjoining patio. Pets are not permitted on-site for safety reasons.
Dress Code
Please dress with the vagaries of the British weather in mind as this is an outdoor experience. We recommend many warm layers in which you can move freely.
Other Info
The club is a member of the BASC (British Association for Shooting and Conservation) and the CPSA (Clay Pigeon Shooting Association).
