Ever wanted to play real shooting games? Why not give clay pigeon shooting a bash ! With a shotgun cocked & the smell of gunpowder in the air you can set you sights firmly on your clay enemy, you'll have a qualified instructor who'll teach you the basics in shooting targets. You'll receive one on one instruction and a large number of shots during your timeslot at one of the largest shooting clubs in the country. It doesn't take long for a beginner to be picking off the clay's with the precision of a hardened marksman. The club has full restaurant facilities and tea & coffee will be provided in the clubhouse so you'll be able to brag about your skills over a pint or two after the action.
Availability
Operates every day of the week including bank holidays. Closed Christmas, Boxing and New Year's Days.
Participant Guidelines
The minimum age allowed is 12. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a spectating adult. The venue is wheelchair accessible and all disabled participants are welcome (please advise details at the point of booking).
Weather
This experience will run in almost all weather conditions however please call ahead if you have any concerns on the day.
Duration
Lasts for an hour, but please allow an additional fifteen minutes for bow fitting and briefing. You are welcome to remain on-site for the rest of the day.
Numbers On Day
There will be others shooting at the venue on the same day.
Spectators
There are safe areas for spectators who are also welcome to frequent the clubhouse and adjoining patio. Pets are not permitted on-site for safety reasons.
Dress Code
Please dress with the vagaries of the British weather in mind for this outdoor experience. We recommend wearing warm layers in which you can move freely.

This archery club is a member of the BASC (British Association for Shooting and Conservation).
