Additional Information
Have you ever seen a carriage and thought to yourself you would love to give that a go well why not? This is the perfect package to get up close and personal with the horses and the people training them. Your day will start off with a brief rundown of the safety for the day and then you will be taken to see all the horses that reside in the stables. You will be shown all of the proper techniques involved and used in carriage driving and then you will be allowed to take control and get a walk through of a specially built track to put all you have learned into practice. You will then be given a break to get some refreshments before being whisked away with 1 of the teams to demonstrate how exhilarating and fun carriage driving will be. Going around corners, twists and bends at amazing speed is 1 of the final amazing experiences you will get and by the end of the day you will be absolutely thrilled by the days events.
Availability
Up to seven days a week, all year round. The weekends tend to be very busy and we recommend you allow at least six weeks booking notice.
Participant Guidelines
The minimum age starts at 3. Under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult at all times. The maximum weight ends at 17 stone. Disabled participants are more than welcome, but please contact us prior to booking to confirm your suitability to take part.
Weather
The weather won't affect this experience, as there are indoor and outdoor facilities at the venue.
Duration
Lasts for approximately three hours in total, including at least one hour driving.
Numbers On Day
This is an exclusive experience with just you and your instructor.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome and will be able to watch the whole experience.
Dress Code
Please make sure to appropriately. Clothes like old leggings, jodhpurs or tracksuit bottoms). Wear wellies/riding boots - no trainers please. You can wear your own hat (it will be safety checked on site) or the venue can provide one.
Other Info
Sessions are tailored to each individual's needs. The instructor will be by your side at all times and will take things as slow or as fast as you feel comfortable with.
