At one of the biggest shooting clubs in the UK you will be shown how to use your rifle by a fully qualified instructor. After a full briefing about rifle shooting you show us your skill by shooting some targets. From a variety of distances and with targets varying from traditional round targets to pop-up targets you can show-off your marksmanship at this Bedfordshire location. There are full restaurant facilities (meal not included) which are at your disposal & tea & coffee will also be provided on the day.
Availability
Operates every day of the week including bank holidays. Closed Christmas, Boxing and New Year's Days.
Participant Guidelines
The minimum age allowed is 10. Anyone under the age of 16 or must be accompanied by a spectating adult. As the venue is fully wheelchair accessible, all disabled participants are welcome (please advise details at the point of booking).
Weather
The experience will run in almost any weather conditions however feel free to call ahead if you have any concerns on the day.
Duration
Your experience lasts for an hour. We suggest that you arrive up to fifteen minutes in advance of your booked time to ensure a prompt start.
Numbers On Day
This is a two to one experience (two participants to one instructor) but there will be others shooting at the venue on the same day.
Spectators
There are safe areas for spectators who are also welcome to frequent the clubhouse and adjoining patio. Pets are not permitted on-site for safety reasons.
Dress Code
Please dress with the vagaries of the British weather in mind for this outdoor experience. We recommend wearing warm layers in which you can move quite freely.
Other Info
This shooting club is a member of the BASC (British Association for Shooting and Conservation) and the CPSA (Clay Pigeon Shooting Association) which grades the venue as premier plus.
