Even Veteran players can sometimes benefit from a bit of coaching and you'll get just that - plus the opportunity to play 18 holes on a superb course. To begin, get a golfing assessment from a PGA professional, followed by an intensive lesson. Depending on the number of participants, this will be an hour-long lesson in a small group, or a 30 minute one-to-one lesson. Afterwards, you'll get to enjoy a round of golf and put those new found skills to the test. Each of the venues has a championship course and many have hosted prestigious tournaments. Some clubs have two golf courses; you will play the resort's course or the championship course (depending on availability). For the next Few months you'll be able to use the email golf helpline service (maximum six emails).
Availability
Weekends and weekdays at some venues, weekdays only at others. Peak summer weekends are very popular and can be booked up far in advance.
Participant Guidelines
No handicap certificate is required, but proficiency equivalent to a maximum 28 for men and 36 for women is expected. As a guide, you should be able to complete a professional course in under 100 shots.
Weather
Bad weather may affect play. An adviser will call you the evening before your experience to advise if your tutorial is called off and to arrange an alternative date.
Duration
Tuition will last for 60 minutes as part of a group or 30 minutes one-to-one.
Numbers On Day
Tuition will be in a group of a maximum of four people to ensure lots of attention for everyone.
Spectators
Guests are welcome at all of the country clubs, and can use the bar and restaurant facilities while they are waiting. Note: that guests can not play.
Dress Code
Golf shoes MUST be worn (available for a small hire fee on the day). Jeans are not applicable. If you don't have your own set of clubs or other equipment, you can pre-hire some by contacting the golf shop direct ('15 to '35, depending on venue).
Other Info
You must present your booking letter at the venue on the day. If you like, you can turn your experience into a well-deserved break by booking accommodation (subject to availability).
