Massage therapy is the perfect way to relax and recharge. Each massage therapist is a trained professional who knows how to use their hands to ease tension and promote wellbeing. Massage is all about focusing on specific needs, so the experience begins with a consultation with the therapist to determine whether it's relaxation or energising that is needed. Feel cares being massaged away during the massage session. Each therapist is different - some use essential oils for an aromatherapy massage, some concentrate on specific areas (e.g. feet or shoulders) and others specialise in specific and specialist relaxation techniques.
Availability
A date of choice, subject to availability.
Participant Guidelines
Min age of 16 or 18 at some venues and some only accept women clients. Prior to booking, must advise if you are or were recently pregnant or have any medical conditions/allergies, as this can preclude your suitability for massage and determines oil used.
Duration
The experience lasts for a minimum of half an hour (often longer, depending on the type of massage you choose), including your consultation. You'll be so relaxed afterwards that you may want to rest for a short while before driving.
Numbers On Day
Naturally this is a one to one session, just you and your therapist.
Dress Code
You will be wrapped in towels during your massage. Some therapists will ask you keep your underwear on, at others you can be naked if you prefer.
Other Info
There is a health consultation prior to the massage and you may be asked to divulge personal information. If you are receiving treatment for an illness we recommend that you consult your GP prior to treatment. Please shower at home before a body massage.
