Availability
We are open 7 days a week, even on evenings, all through the year. This club is closed throughout the Christmas holidays. Due to the popularity of this experience at weekends, we recommend that you book around 2/3 weeks in advance.
Participant Guidelines
The minimum age for this experience is 16 for insurance reasons. The maximum weight limit for this experience is 17lb. The maximum height limit is 6foot 4inches. I.d. with a picture (ideally a passport or driving licence if you have one) must be produced by all participants on the day of their flight. Failure to do so may affect your admittance to fly.
Weather
Flying is heavily dependent on the activity of the weather and it's very important that you call the venue for a weather check before setting out to make sure you don't have a wasted journey if the weather is bad. If the flight is cancelled because of bad weather, it will be rebooked for a different date or time.
Duration
Lasts for about 45 minutes, including a 30 minute flight. Flight times are approximate but are close to the given time.
Numbers On Day
Both the safety briefing and flight will be given in a one-to-one manner with the instructor.
Spectators
Spectators are more than welcome to watch you take off and land on our site
Dress Code
We recommend that you wear flat shoes/trainers. Bring sun lotion (if the sun is too strong) and a hat in the summertime. Sunglasses are ideal throughout the year.
Other Info
This flying time can count towards a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL). To qualify for a Private Pilot's Licence you are required to have at least 35 hours of dual control and 10 hours of solo flying. If piloting is something that you are seriously thinking about, this is the perfect way to start.
