Availability
Some venues operate seven days a week (subject to weather conditions), others a limited availability. Due to the high popularity of spring and autumn time, we highly recommend booking a few weeks in advance, and even earlier than this again for all summer weekend times.
Participant Guidelines
Restrictions for this experience vary according to venue. As a safety precaution our behalf we have set a few guidelines for all flights so if you weigh more than 14st or are more than 6ft high, please check with us to see whether you meet these requirements or not before booking.
Weather
Aerobatic flying is very weather dependent, therefore it is very important that you call us on the morning of your flight to check if it is given the go ahead or not. If your flight is called off because of bad weather you will be given the chance to rebook for a different date or time.
Duration
The approximate flight time is around 20 to 30 minutes, but please allow for a longer length of time at the centre.
Numbers On Day
Only you and the pilot will be in the plane, but the briefing may be shared with other participants.
Spectators
Spectators are always more than welcome at the airfields. A camera and a pair of binoculars will be of great benefit as they will get some great photos to be got with your plane. Pets are not allowed at airfields.
Dress Code
Wear flat, soft-soled shoes. Any specific clothing and headsets that may be required will be provided to you. Bring sunblock and a hat in summer, and gloves in cold weather. Sunglasses are highly ideal all year round.
Other Info
We suggest that you only have a very light meal or don't eat at all before your flight (a hearty meal beforehand may make you feel nauseous). We highly recommend that you DO NOT drink alcohol before you fly as this will cause you to be sick.
