Additional Information
Take photography tour in either Woburn Safari Park or Knowsley Safari Park and with your camera in hand, explore and capture on film some of the many beautiful and majestic creatures that dwell in these special parks. Guided by an experienced photographer and assisted by the safari park keepers, you will take a part driven, part walking tour, allowing opportunities for wide angle, long shots from the open window of the safari vehicle and close-ups shot from the best vantage points. Each park may offer different exotic animals such a, tigers, monkeys, giraffes, rhinos and other exotic beasts. The session lasts half a day so the remainder of the day can be spent wandering around the park at ease.
Availability
Available on weekdays at least once a month at Woburn Safari Park and weekend dates at least ten times a year at Knowsley Safari Park.
Participant Guidelines
The minimum age for this activity is 16.
Weather
The course may be cancelled or curtailed due to extreme weather conditions such as snow, ice or severe rain. Please feel free to call the venue before hand if in any doubt.
Duration
The session lasts for three and a half hours and run in mornings and afternoons.
Numbers On Day
There will be a maximum of eight participants on the day.
Spectators
Unsuitable for spectators.
Dress Code
Much of the experience will take place outdoors, so please dress appropriately and wear suitable footwear.
Other Info
The course trainers are all hand-picked working photographers who share a passion for photography. Be advised that all participants must bring and be able to carry their own cameras and equipment.
