Additional Information
Whether your novice or an experienced rider, you'll love this riding day. Staff will appreciate an early arrival so that you can get registered and help make sure the experience begins promptly and runs to time. Start a half hour to one hour lesson within the grounds of the riding school, during which your instructor will assess your abilities to plan your next activity. Then continue on with your lesson in the grounds or go out on a hack (including walk and trot) in lovely countryside or woodland. When you arrive for your first visit, cantering is not allowed outside the arenas. You'll have three hours riding the hack, taking place before and after a typical stable hands lunch of lasagne and salad with everyone around the big table in the farmhouse.
Availability
At least two weekend dates per month, throughout the year.
Participant Guidelines
Minimum age at 18. You need to be reasonably fit the day will involve a fair amount of walking. Wheelchair users as always are welcome. Both novices & those with some experience of birds of prey are welcome, as the day is designed around your level of experience.
Weather
If the weather is getting bad your experience will still go ahead under cover.
Duration
Your experience will last around six and a half hours. Please arrive early to ensure a prompt start.
Numbers On Day
The experience is held on a one to one basis with your instructor.
Spectators
This experience isn't suitable for spectators.
Dress Code
Dress for the outdoors & wear wellies or walking boots. Also bring a change of clothes if the weather is very bad. If you have any camera's or a pair of binoculars feel free to bring them along.
Other Info
Please note that dogs are not permitted on site.
