Why not learn the art of horse riding with a friend at this school of riding. On arrival a friendly instructor will greet the pair of you and give an overview and safety briefing to the group to prepare everyone for the job of grooming and tacking up the horses to be ridden. This is followed by a introductory lesson so the instructor can assess abilities. By that time you should be familiar enough to go out on a hack into Epping Forest and enjoy the scenery for an hour. You'll also make sure the horses are looked after on return to the yard by resting and untacking them. Then it's your turn for respite so go and enjoy afternoon tea and cake inside and receive a certificate each to take home.
Availability
At least one weekday per month from March to October.
Participant Guidelines
Minimum age set at 16.
Weather
The course may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions snow, ice or severe rain. Please call the venue if you are in any doubt.
Duration
Lasts for seven hours including time for refreshments and lunch.
Numbers On Day
A maximum of eight participants share the day together.
Spectators
Unsuitable for spectators.
Dress Code
Much of the experience will take place outdoors, so please dress appropriately and wear suitable flat, comfortable footwear. Also Waterproof coat and trousers are also recommended in wet weather.
Other Info
The course trainers are all hand-picked working photographers who share a passion for photography. Please note, participants must also bring and be able to comfortably carry their own cameras and equipment.
